Coworth Park Ascot wedding video

Wedding venues don’t get much more elegant than Coworth Park near Ascot in Berkshire. Coworth Park is a Georgian mansion with extensive grounds (240 acres!) and a flower meadow that looks amazing in summer.

Gemma and Ed had planned to have their wedding ceremony in the pagoda by the flower meadow, and their drinks reception in the gardens, but the British weather intervened and the threat of rain meant that everything moved indoors.

Not that this dampened anyone’s spirits – the registrar who conducted the civil ceremony commented that she had rarely seen such a happy and smiling couple!

After filming the groom having lunch with his groomsmen in The Barn restaurant, and the bride’s preparations in the main house, the civil ceremony took place downstairs, accompanied by a string quartet.

Friends and family had gathered from all around the world for this special day, including some from Singapore where Ed used to work.
