Hampshire wedding video highlights | Olivia & Charlie
If you want to see what a classic English country wedding looks like, this is it – a beautiful Hampshire country church, a reception in a marquee in a garden, men in morning suits, women in big hats, all the ingredients were there.
The only thing we missed out on was some sunshine, but cloudy weather goes with English weddings as well!
Olivia and Charlie were married at St. Andrew’s Church, South Warnborough in Hampshire, where Charlie’s parents were also married. After an exit from the church under a guard of honour wielding cricket bats (Charlier is an avid cricketer) and a huge shower of confetti, it was on to Charlie’s parents’ house nearby, where a magnificent marquee had been set up in the garden for the reception.Although I’ve described Olivia and Charlie’s wedding as classically English, there were some personal touches that lent a slightly exotic flavour – some Provencal style decorations, a samba as the first dance and Mexican hats worn by the guests during the dancing brought some Latin verve to the proceedings!
My colleague Jacques Lloyd of Real Simple Photography was on stills duty and the excellent DJ was Tom Burrell of Atomic DJ. Catering was by Sarah Symington and the amazing cake by Toby Griffith of Sublime Cakes.
Anyway without further ado here is Olivia and Charlie’s highlights movie. (Click the four-headed arrow in the player once it’s rolling to view full screen).
Many congratulations to Olivia and Charlie – if you’d like to leave a comment please do so below!
