London wedding video – Cheyne Walk Brasserie, Chelsea
Some weddings are big events with many guests at a big venue, some are smaller – Katie and Roubesh’s civil ceremony at Cheyne Walk Brasserie in Chelsea was a relaxed and intimate occasion with a select group of family and friends, which made it a pleasure to film!
Everyone gathered at the Brasserie for the civil ceremony, and then we all went into the garden by the Chelsea Embankment for photos (my colleague Paul White was on stills duty). After that everyone returned to the brasserie for cocktails and the wedding breakfast, with a couple of impromptu speeches.
It was all very informal and relaxed – and you can tell from the big smiles on the faces of Katie and Roubesh that that was just the way they wanted it! A big thank you to Katie and Roubesh for inviting me to film their wedding – and congratulations to you both!
Cheyne Walk Brasserie is a great location for a small wedding – you have everything in one place, the food is amazing and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It was once a Victorian pub so has that old-world atmosphere. It’s not far from the Royal Hospital Chelsea – as it was a nice day I walked to the Brasserie from Sloane Square tube station, but you can always get a taxi! It was the first time I’d filmed there but I look forward to working there again. Plus the Chelsea registrars are really nice as well and do a great job of making the ceremony go smoothly.
