Long Barn Alton wedding video | Emma & Julian

Of course most weddings are happy occasions, but it was great to see Emma & Julian the whole day with big grins on their faces from start to finish! They were married in St. Matthews Church in Blackmoor, Hampshire, a pretty little country church built in the 1860s. The service was ably conducted by the Rev. Dom Clarke – another man who seemed to have a permanent smile on his face. 😉

After the obligatory confetti shot just outside the church’s lych gate we meandered through the country lanes to the Long Barn at Alton for the wedding reception (causing a bit of a traffic jam in the process with so many cars trying to go in the same direction down some very narrow country lanes!

The Long Barn (as you have probably guessed) is a converted barn, and it’s long! It also has a lawn either side which was ideal for Emma & Julian’s guests to be able to mingle and chat in the sunshine. Having plenty of space inside means that the dining area and dance floor are separate (with a bar in between) which means the organisers don’t have to shift a lot of tables to make space for the dancing.

All in all it was a classic English wedding and I really enjoyed filming it for Julian and Emma.
