Waldorf Hilton London wedding video
Sneha & Yashar’s wedding at the Waldorf Hilton hotel in London’s Aldwych was a colourful, happy and multinational affair – reflecting the couple’s Persian and Indian heritages as well as their love of fun and wide circle of friends. The Waldorf is an amazing venue and I’m looking forward to shooting another wedding there soon.
Sneha & Yashar’s day started with the groom’s arrival by bicycle rickshaw from Covent Garden – accompanied by a pair of drummers and many of the wedding guests! Traffic was somewhat disrupted for a while but nobody seemed to mind.
Then the serious part of the day got under way with a Hindu wedding ceremony in the very glamorous setting of the Palm Court, followed later by a Persian ceremony.
“Prince Ali” dance routine
After the cocktail reception there were group photos and speeches. The evening entertainment got off to a flying start with an amazing performance of the song “Prince Ali” from the Disney film “Aladdin”, which was very much enjoyed by the guests. The dance was followed by speeches from the “best men” and then dinner and dancing.
It was a very memorable day, and a great pleasure for me to film the highlights for Sneha & Yashar. Speaking of highlights – here’s that incredible dance performance in full:
